SECC Kickoff

Team FSSA,

It’s time to connect and collect for this year’s State Employees’ Community Campaign! The SECC is the only time of the year where staff can sign up for payroll deductions to go a charity and causes that they care about. This year’s campaign will end on Nov. 10, with our agency theme being cartoons. I’m also setting our goal at $155,000, an amount we are sure to hit due to your generosity and commitment.

This is an exciting and time for our agency as we get to showcase our commitment to local and global communities by raising funds for our favorite non-profits, while having some fun with staff events. As FSSA employees, your everyday work supports Hoosiers and Indiana communities in countless ways, and you’re not alone. The charitable community is with you, every step of the way.

From schools and health care facilities, to parks, museums and places of worship–some of our most fundamental needs are met by charities. In our times of need and distress, the unseen hand of a charity is there, supporting and guiding us to a better life and healthier community, in ways large and small, and we may not even know it.

The SECC is a convenient and cost-effective method to donate through the ease of a payroll deduction, electronic check or credit/debit card. You can select from more than 1,500 charities. To learn more on how to donate please visit the SECC Hub page, the SECC donation page or review the how to make a new payroll deduction or modify an existing deduction.

A couple of items to note as we get started:

  • Our campaign theme is cartoons and a FSSA spirit week is scheduled to start Oct. 16
  • If you had a payroll deduction set up last year it will automatically rollover at the same amount to the same charities.
  • If you would like to change your amount, charities or stop your deduction you may do so on the SECC donation page.
  • The minimum donation for a payroll deduction is $2 per paycheck.

Please email SECC@fssa.in.gov with any questions and let’s have a fun SECC campaign!
