Team FSSA,

Over the next few days staff will receive an email from FSSA Training about being enrolled in FSSA Security & Privacy Compliance Training v7. A screenshot of this email is below. It should be clarified the email is not SPAM and IS a required training.

FSSA is obligated under both federal and state regulations to protect the confidentiality and integrity of a client’s personal information in its safekeeping. As such, federal law requires all FSSA workforce members to complete annual training on the FSSA Privacy & Security Compliance Policies. You can find these policies on The Hub by clicking here.

A workforce member includes state employees, volunteers, interns, trainees, contractors or others whose conduct, in the performance of work for FSSA, is under the direct control of FSSA, whether or not they are paid by FSSA. Please note that only FSSA contractors who have been deemed “workforce contractors” are being enrolled in this training. Thus, these workforce contractors should check their FSSA email accounts for an email from the FSSAPrivacyTraining@fssa.in.gov inbox for additional details.

The training must be completed in addition to security trainings managed by the Indiana Office of Technology. Any questions regarding the FSSA Privacy & Security Compliance training or requests for an accessible version of the training can be directed to FSSAPrivacyTraining@fssa.in.gov.

Please follow the instruction in the email you received to take the training or they may be also reviewed on The Hub. This training can only be accessed through the FSSA Training iLMS that is linked in the enrollment email and not in SuccessFactors. Sample enrollment email below.
