The Know the O Facts campaign has released a new opioid use disorder outreach video—the fourth overall, that discusses opioid use called “Know the O Facts 101.”
It’s time to understand that opioid use affects everyone, and can start at any time. Opioid use has been a public health emergency for some time. Alarmingly, it has been increasing among Hoosiers.
This video shows how people can get introduced to opioids and why there is a need to help reduce their usage and to recuse the stigma associated with opioid use disorder. It begins with understanding. Remember, opioid use disorder is a disease. There is treatment and from that, recovery is possible.
We encourage you to share this video with those who may need it, either via social media or at gatherings of people concerned about the opioid epidemic who want to learn more about stopping the stigma around the disease.
