ISDH Asking for Volunteers at COVID-19 Call Centers

The Indiana State Department of Health is operating several call centers to provide support to the general public and providers related to the novel coronavirus outbreak/COVID-19. Understandably, our fellow Hoosiers have many questions and concerns. At this time, shifts are in four hour increments ranging from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. (day), 12 – 4 p.m. (day), 4 – 8 p.m. (evening), 8 p.m. – 12 a.m. (evening), and 8 p.m. – 8 a.m. (overnight). The call center has identified a strong need for individuals willing to work evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Staff that wishes to volunteer during their normal scheduled work hours must clear the time with their supervisor before signing up to volunteer at the call centers to ensure their work responsibilities are maintained. Any state employee who volunteers may count this as work time and code it against the Coronavirus Incident (200126) on Time & Labor. To volunteer please fill out the call center availability form, by clicking here.

If you have questions please contact the COVID-19 Call Center inbox at Covid19@isdh.in.gov.
