September all-staff address Sept. 13: A panel discussion on efforts to improve quality, accessibility and affordability of early childhood learning and care

On Wednesday, Sept. 13 , 2023, FSSA Secretary Dan Rusyniak will host a panel discussion with Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning Director Courtney Penn about how FSSA is supporting 400,000 children from birth to age 4 and their families and how expanding child care opportunities supports economic development opportunities from noon to 1 p.m. ET in the Indiana Government Center South Auditorium.  Access to affordable, quality child care is one of the three FSSA priorities for 2023. The discussion will also include stories from the field by our On My Way Pre-K staff and a look at our provider recruitment and retention efforts.

For staff that are unable to attend in-person, the address will be live streamed on the FSSA YouTube channel, link below, and the presentation will also be recorded and available via The Hub.
