A Reminder About Unauthorized/Unescorted Individuals

Access control is vital to any organization’s physical safety and security. To protect our coworkers, it is imperative that all employees remain vigilant and ensure that any non-employee is escorted while in FSSA space – even friends and former coworkers. If you see someone wandering around looking lost, poking their head in cubes, someone that doesn’t have a badge visible or otherwise like they aren’t an employee, please politely approach them to offer assistance. Ask them who they are here to see, what their purpose is for being in the space and offer to escort them to your area’s receptionist. Stay with them until either the receptionist is interacting with them or you can find the proper escort for them.

If someone is in your area without an escort and they refuse to comply or otherwise make a scene when you politely approach, please call Caleb Slocum at (317) 910-3303 or Capitol Police at (317) 899-7711.
