Purchasing Department

Purchasing lead: Debra Middleton

The mission of the purchasing department is to work alongside other departments to order supplies and services needed for patients and employees of the hospital working within the guidelines of all Indiana procurement laws.

Responsibilities of the purchasing staff include:

  • Review and process incoming department purchase and equipment requests
  • Review and process incoming local purchase requests
  • Enter all purchase requests into PeopleSoft financials
  • Maintain vendor relationships
  • Maintain recreation fund accounts
  • Review and process travel requests
  • Maintain personal service contracts
  • Maintain preventative maintenance contracts
  • Maintain hospital-wide inventory
