Community Partners for Child Safety provides home-based case-management services to connect families to resources to strengthen the family and prevent child abuse and neglect.
- Child Care Vouchers
The Child Care and Development Fund helps low-income families get child care. If eligible, Kinship Care families whose child has been placed with them through DCS may be able to get child care vouchers without a wait. Please contact your family case manager, foster care specialist or relative support specialist for more information.

- Safe Sleep
Safe sleep for babies is essential to reduce the risk of SUID (Sudden Unexpected Infant Death) and other sleep-related causes of infant death. Follow these tips during every sleep time:
- Place your baby on his or her back in a crib, bassinet or Pack ’n Play.
- Use a firm mattress with a tightly fitted sheet.
- Keep your baby’s sleep space clutter free – no pillows, blankets or toys.
- Avoid covering your baby’s head or overheating. Instead of a blanket, consider a sleep sack, wearable blanket or footed sleeper.
- Teach everyone who cares for your baby about safe sleep.
