Pursuant to I.C. § 33-27-2-8(b)(4), Christopher M. Nancarrow submits the following statement concerning his efforts and achievements towards the improvement of the administration of justice:

I believe my background will provide a unique and valuable perspective for this Commission. As the elected Clerk in my county, I’ve worked alongside many judicial officers, lawyers, and public servants at the state and local levels. I’m well-versed in the needs of practitioners and the ongoing initiatives to improve the administration of justice and access to the courts. I also understand the practical limits and immense challenges associated with administering our court systems. Through my daily duties as Clerk and my work on various judicial committees, I’m familiar with the expectations and temperament required of judicial officers. If elected to this Commission, I promise to be accessible to all practitioners and stakeholders throughout my three-year tenure. In carrying out this Commission’s nominating duties, I want to hear every perspective so that we can submit the strongest possible candidates to the Governor. Over the next few weeks, I will not flood your office’s mailbox with expensive, glossy flyers asking for your vote. Similarly, I will not spam your inbox with emails regarding the same. If you would like to learn more about my background and dedication to our courts, please email me at chris@nancarrow.us. I appreciate your consideration.
