The Veterans Service Officer is appointed by the Board of Commissioners to serve the veterans of Union County.
The position of Veterans Service Officer is created by Indiana Statute IC 10-17-1-9.
The Union County Veterans Affairs Office is responsible for assisting veterans, their spouses, dependents and survivors with veterans’ benefits through Federal and State levels. We offer a full range of services including helping to apply for the benefits listed below:
