No, you may serve but Indiana law provides for an exception if you are over 75 years of age. Please return your questionnaire and contact Court staff.

Please send your questionnaire and your documentation to Court staff.
- I received a jury summons, and my work will not allow me to appear.
Indiana law provides an employer may not sanction you for jury service.
- How do I know what Court to go to?
See case assignment/type. Generally, 67C01 is Circuit and 67D01 is Superior. The Magistrate hears case types with both cause numbers.
- Can I represent myself?
Yes. However, you will be held to the same standard as a licensed attorney.
- Are there Court forms available?

- What is a proceedings supplemental in a civil case?
It is a scheduled hearing when the Court determines how the judgment debtor is going to pay the judgment creditor. This can be through an agreed garnishment or by statutory garnishment. If you fail to appear for this hearing the garnishment will most likely be at the statutory rate which is 25% of your disposable income over minimum wage.
