Comprehensive Hoosier Highway’s Injury Reduction Program (CHIRP) Grant

ICJI's Traffic Safety Division’s FY2021 Comprehensive Hoosier Highway’s Injury Reduction Program (CHIRP) provides programs that can be comprehensively applied for in IntelliGrants. The  program focuses federal funding assistance in areas that have a maximum probability of reducing death and injury on roadways. Indiana's emphasis areas are alcohol, drug impairment, speed, occupant protection and youth. Project activity should be directed toward one or more of these emphasis areas. Activity must focus on the reduction of fatal and serious injury crashes. Applicants will select any and/or all programs in one collective application process. The deadline to apply was May 15, 2020.
