The Indiana State Police offers training programs that teach school administrators how to respond to an active shooter incident. The program design goes beyond the previous standard practice of what has become known as "lockdown."
School administrators may check availability to have a Safe School/Active Shooter presentation by emailing the following information to the Public Information Officer at the local Indiana State Police District:
