Location of Offense:  C.R. 150 West, between C.R. 950 South and C.R. 900 South

Circumstances:  Jeanne M. Gilbert was working as a night clerk at Days Inn in Remington, IN, when it was robbed and Gilbert went missing.  Her body was discovered on County Road 150 West, near Brookston, IN.  She died of gunshot wounds.  Also, on the same date, Margret Gill was discovered murdered at a Days Inn located at 8290 Louisiana Street, Merrillville, IN.  Margret died of gunshot wounds to the head.
