May 30, 2003 System Status Update

IDACS/NCIC 2000 IMPLEMENTATION UPDATE MAY 30, 2003

The IDACS/NCIC 2000 System was brought on-line May 8, 2003. Legacy IDACS users have a connection to the new system via legacy terminals.

Since that date ISP personnel continue to work on repairing problems and solving issues with the new system. Any agency experiencing problems with the legacy or IDACS/NCIC 2000 system should contact the Data Operations Center at 800-622-4961. Be prepared to submit detailed documentation of the problem encountered. Each transaction has an MRI number (i.e. MRI123456) associated with it. It can either be E-Mailed to: idacs@isp.state.in.us, or FAX to 317-233-3057.


A process is under way to beging the conversion of agencies from the legacy system to the IDACS/NCIC 2000 system. The following personnel are available to assist you with questions related to what your agency has to do to accomplish this conversion.
