Competencies:

• Social Media must be addressed

• Increase understanding of common ethical standards when working with clients
• Be able to access discipline code of ethics • The body of moral principles or values governing or distinctive of a particular culture or group: The Social Work Code of Ethics; The Mental Health Counselors Code of Ethics; The Marriage and Family Code of Ethics etc….
• Become aware of Agency Policy on Ethics and how to access it

• Understand IC 31-33-6 (being a mandated reporter); this should be a discussion within the agency

Worker Safety
Competencies:
• Understand the importance of worker safety
• Have a discussion about Agency specific policy on worker safety

Competencies:

• Understand form and discuss agency policies on reporting to FCM
• Understand that reporting to FCM is not the same as making a report to the hotline
