Did you know? Each year on the first Thursday of May is National Password Day. This year it's on Thursday, May 2.

  • The inaugural World Password Day occurred in 2013, per an initiative by the software company called Intel.
Passwords represent one of the most critical aspects of security. Protecting your accounts can be as simple as adhering to the basics of strong passwords and implementing additional layers of security.

Please review the handout to find ways you can “Layer up” for World Password day: World Password Day handout

Consider using a Password Manager

Keeper logo

Keeper is a web-based password management solution that provides a secure place to store your passwords. Password managers eliminate the need to write down your passwords on paper—written passwords are vulnerable to being stolen if they are not stored and disposed of in a secure manner.

Please see the guide below to begin using this IOT approved password manager:

Please read this full guide if you have never used Keeper before. If you experience an issue that is not addressed in this guide, please submit a ticket to the IOT Help Desk.
