Jefferson Township was established in 1834 and is located in Western Wayne County, consisting of 27.61 square miles and over 3200 residents. Jefferson Township partners with the Nettle Creek Community Coalition (NCCC), a local nonprofit corporation, to bring Nettle Creek residents a variety of resources not normally offered through most townships. We offer a weekly food pantry at our office, a weekly personal care pantry, and a monthly mobile food pantry. We also partner with several other Wayne County agencies offering health assistance and other resources. We share NCCC’s mission of “Helping the community to live a healthier, safer, and hunger-free life.”
