Franklin Township in Ripley County, Indiana, is one of eleven townships in Ripley County. The community includes top schools, parks and trails, an outstanding library, and an all-volunteer fire department. The township borders include the northern portion of the Town of Milan, north of East County Rd 300N and East Carr St/Old St Rt 350. The township also includes the unincorporated towns of Behlmer Corner, Clinton, Negengards Corner, Old Milan , Pierceville and Stumpke Corner.
The Township Trustee office is in Milan, Indiana. Franklin Township, Ripley County is a member of the Indiana Township Association.
