Trustee LaDonna M. Freeman

LaDonna Freeman

Trustee LaDonna Freeman has a long-standing record of public service and community advocacy. Before taking office in January 2023, she served for more than 27 years as Chief Deputy/Director of the Marion County Board of Voters Registration, where she worked to ensure all eligible residents had equitable access to voter registration.

Trustee Freeman is deeply committed to serving the community. She serves on the board of Karen Kares (formerly Karen’s Spirit), an organization dedicated to the safety and well-being of seniors, and as Deputy Chief of Women in Motion, which focuses on HIV awareness and prevention.

Since taking office, Trustee Freeman has expanded accessibility for Center Township residents by welcoming walk-ins during business hours, extending office hours on Tuesdays until 7:00 p.m., and offering last-Saturday availability by request. The Center Township Trustee’s Office also operates a clothing closet open to the public and provides free notary services to residents.

A proud mother of four and grandmother of ten, Trustee Freeman is a graduate of Lawrence North High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College.
