Working Together for Our Community
Our beautiful town is home to Rea Park, The Panhandle Pathway, and the Pioneer Panthers.
Rea Park provides many opportunities for outdoor activity. The park includes baseball & softball fields, basketball, pickleball, and volleyball courts, playground equipment, and pavilions.
Individuals or families may enjoy a pleasant run, walk, or bike ride North to Winamac or South to France Park via the Panhandle Pathway Trail.
We take pride in our Pioneer Schools who teach our students to be Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn while winning seven State Championships, being the first school In the State of Indiana to win three State Championships in one year. Go Panthers!
Our community comes together to host two festivals each year. Pioneer Days is hosted by our local Lions Club the second weekend in June while Oktoberfest is hosted by the Rea Park Board the first Saturday of October each year.
