Montezuma is home to two parks, Reeder Park and Aztec Park.

Our parks offer playground equipment, tennis courts, pavilions and basketball courts.  Reeder Park also houses a public access site and campgrounds with electricity, water and a handicapped accessible restroom.  Within Aztec Park, the Town has constructed a beautiful Veteran’s Memorial to honor those who have served in the armed forces.  Aztec Park is also home to some of the finest baseball and softball fields in the area and offers handicapped- accessible restrooms.  The Town has also added a walking path and plans to continue looking for opportunities to expand the path.  To reserve a pavilion for a private event, please contact the Utility office at 765-245-2759 or complete and submit the following:

Montezuma enjoys an abundance of tourism due to its natural amenities and the Covered Bridge Festival.  In and around Parke County and at nearby state parks and recreation areas, there are ample opportunities to bike, swim, boat, canoe, camp, hike, kayak, hunt, fish, and horseback ride.
