Transfers

A transferring employee should provide a notice of intent to transfer. The HR team of the receiving agency should contact the previous agency to notify of the impending transfer and request the employee’s file. Employees who are transferring to another agency should not be terminated in PeopleSoft.

Agency to Agency Transfers

  • Scheduled at the start of a pay cycle
  • When an employee is transferring between agencies, they need to work with both agencies to determine a transition plan that works for everyone. A decision about where the employee is working each day or whether leave is approved belongs to the two affected agencies. The employee, manager/supervisor and HR will coordinate the transitional plan.
  • The manager/supervisor and/or HR will coordinate with the employee and  the Access Control Office to obtain new ID Badge - Credential and Access Request Form
