Washington Township Water Corporation of Monroe County is seeking approval of new rates in a newly filed case.
The OUCC is reviewing the request and is scheduled to file recommendations Dec. 29, 2025.

The utility is seeking the increase through the state's Small Utility Filing Procedure, which is aimed at reducing rate case expenses while not reducing the standard of review by the OUCC and IURC.
The OUCC issued a news release on October 15, 2025 inviting written consumer comments.
Current rates for Washington Township Water Corporation of Monroe County were approved in June 2014.
