Craig Markley

Craig Markley is a graduate of Indiana University and has been with the health department since 1989. He specializes in retail food establishment inspections, conducts all plan reviews, and opening inspections. Craig is the department’s lead in vector (mosquito) control and private wells. Jason Howard

Jason Howard has been with the health department since 2005. Jason attended Ivy Tech, Indiana University East, and Eastern Kentucky University. He conducts routine inspections of food service establishments and retail food markets, collecting food samples for analysis, completing inspection reports on construction, cleanliness, and sanitation, and investigating suspected food poisoning. Jason is also a Certified Pool Operator and inspects all public swimming pools in Wayne County. Jason can be reached at 765-973-9245 extension 1365.

Luke Reimsnyder

Luke Reimsnyder is our newest edition to the Environmental Specialist team. Luke received his Bachelor of Science from Indiana University. He is our Housing Inspector, conducts routine inspections of retail food establishments, and investigates animal bites. Luke can be reached at 765-973-9245, extension 1286.

Angela McDaniel, Health Educator, CCMA

Angela McDaniel is our Health Educator. Angela graduated from Ivy Tech in 2015 and was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for the School of Health Sciences, along with the State of Indiana’s Career and Technical Education Award for Excellence in 2016. She manages our social media and webpage accounts, develops materials to teach people about health topics, carries out Narcan grant activities and trains the public on how to recognize an opioid overdose including how to administer Narcan.
