Diana Purushotham, MD - Health Officer

Dr. Purushotham, a dedicated healthcare professional, joined the health department on July 24, 2023. She completed her medical training at Chicago Medical School and pursued an Internal Medicine residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. With experience as a hospitalist at Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic, she later joined the South Bend Clinic. In the South Bend Clinic, she held various leadership roles, including serving as the medical director, board member, and department chair. Dr. Purushotham is committed to improving community health in St. Joseph County and serving its residents with compassion and expertise.
