Fairmount Public Library’s Indiana and Genealogy section offers reference materials on Indiana history and notable Hoosiers.
This reference area also includes local works about Fairmount, its citizens, and landmarks. Included in this section is a transcript of Park Cemetery records. The Library has also received several family histories.
A special collection of circulating and non-circulating materials on James Dean may be viewed by patrons upon request.
Past editions of the FAIRMOUNT NEWS and FAIRMOUNT NEWS-SUN, and THE SUMMITVILLE SUN are on microfilm.
