Lieutenant Governor Beckwith is interested in listening and connect with pastors to hear and understand the issues facing their communities. Lt. Governor Beckwith realizes communities of faith are instrumental to a healthy Hoosier community and wishes to encourage and assist communities of faith in their endeavors to assist those less privileged in our Hoosier communities.

These roundtables accomplish this by equipping and educating churches on civic responsibility, helping to mobilize issues faced in the community, build relationships with leaders, and encouraging involvement with Hoosiers.

Churches' Bill of Rights

The Churches' Bill of Rights is a clear outline for churches, houses of worship, synagogues, temples, and all faith-based communities to fully understand their rights under the current law. It’s a bold step forward, and it ensures the protection of the freedoms that allow these vital institutions to help Hoosiers thrive. To read the Churches' Bill of Rights click here.
