POLICY TITLE: Emergency Action Plan
POLICY NUMBER: IDOH - OSC - 004 -00
PURPOSE: To develop an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) tailored to the Indiana Department of Health's office/laboratory locations.
STATEMENT OF POLICY:
It is the policy of the IDOH to comply with all regulations governing our operations and facilities. We wish to ensure the health and safety of all our employees, contractors, and policy is not simply a goal, it is a requirement.
It is a condition of employment that IDOH employees be prepared to comply with this EAP, including all instructions and procedures contained herein. All contractors and visitors to the IDOH are expected to comply with and follow the instructions and procedures contained in the EAP.
In the event of an emergency, the management of the IDOH will insure, to the best of its ability, the safety of its employees, contractors, and visitors. IDOH management is committed to providing a safe workplace and requires the full cooperation of all employees in detecting hazards, reporting dangerous conditions, and in implementing this EAP.
