DRIVE Database Registration of Indiana's Vital Events

As mentioned in our last communication, end user trainings for the DRIVE (Database Registration of Indiana’s Vital Events) system begins the week of August 10 and runs through October 9. These training sessions are virtual and are specific to your user role.  Attendance is limited in each session so we can maintain a classroom-like atmosphere and interact with participants as much as possible.

Click the link below and it will open a spreadsheet with tabs.  Find the tab specific to your user role (i.e., medical certifier, funeral home, etc.) and click on the tab to see the available training dates and times for your role.  You will click on the link for the session you would like to attend, and it will take you to the registration page, where you will need to sign up.

A recorded presentation of each user role training session will be posted on the DRIVE website for anyone unable to attend any of the live webinars or for those that want to view the training content again at a later date, but these recordings will not be available until sometime in October.

Email any questions about DRIVE to ISDH at DRIVE@isdh.in.gov.

***Medical certifier training is only for death certifiers.  If you are a birth certifier, please register for a birth facilities training session.
