Video Calls

The Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) now offers video call services that expand how incarcerated individuals connect with approved visitors.

VisitNow

Incarcerated individuals can place outgoing calls from their tablet at a designated video visitation kiosk.

VisitAnywhere

Incarcerated individuals can place outgoing calls from their tablet from approved locations, including their housing unit.

Video call times vary by facility.
Please contact the incarcerated individual for the days and times they are available.

Use the same email for your visitation application and Video call account
Do not create duplicate visitor accounts on GettingOut.com or GTLVisitMe.com
Calls are initated by the incarcerated individual
Calls use face detection during video calls
Two visitors maximum
Visitor ID required
Rule violations are handled the same as other video visitation rules
Approved visitors only

Getting Started with VisitNow and VisitAnywhere

Step 1: Register for Visitation

All recipients must register for a ViaPath Account and be approved visitors before using this feature.

Step 2: Download ViaPath App

Download the ViaPath app – or a ViaPath-compatible app – to your tablet or device. Visits cannot occur unless this app is installed.

Step 3: Create GettingOut Account

Video calls are part of the GettingOut system. Once you’ve created your GettingOut account, you’ll be ready to go! NOTE: IDOC facilities will appear with an IN- prefix.
