Analysis of meat products for pathogenic E. coli, Listeria, Salmonella and Campylobacter.
Meat, poultry and environmental swab samples submitted for microbiological analyses will only be accepted from the Indiana State Board of Animal Health Meat and Poultry Division and other government agencies.

Retail meat samples are collected in their original packaging material.
Contact Board of Animal Health for further instruction.

- State seal must be present on the sample or notated if absent.
- Sample should be in original manufacturer’s packing material.
Samples must all criteria before it is accepted for analysis.
The sample must be delivered in satisfactory physical condition and without any leakage and within the temperature requirements.
