The Role of Implicit Bias on Decision Making Now Available on the Hub

FSSA recently hosted a professional development opportunity for staff where Dr. Rosemarie Allen explored the role of implicit bias in decision-making. Implicit bias refers to the attitudes or stereotypes that affect our actions, understanding, and decisions in an unconscious manner. These biases, which encompass both favorable and unfavorable assessments, are activated involuntarily and without an individual's awareness or intentional control.
