The Online Work Permit System has recently undergone several upgrades to make it more reliable and user-friendly. Beginning January 1, 2009, all schools in Indiana must begin using the online work permit system to issue work permits to minors. The Indiana Department of Labor will no longer produce or distribute paper work permits.
The newly upgraded system will be implemented on December 8, 2009.
