Court of Appeals of Indiana Judge James S. Kirsch announces retirement
Judge James S. Kirsch has announced that he will retire from the Court of Appeals of Indiana this fall.
Judge Kirsch has served on the Court for more than twenty-five years, serving as Chief Judge from 2004-2007. Before joining the Court, he served as Judge of the Marion Superior Court for six years and a was distinguished lawyer in Marion County.
Court of Appeals accepting applications for CLEO Summer Law Internship
The Court of Appeals is accepting applications for the 2021 Carr L. Darden Conference for Legal Education Opportunity (CLEO) Summer Law Internship. The CLEO program assists low-income or educationally disadvantaged law students in Indiana in earning their degrees and pursuing legal careers. This internship is a 10-week, paid internship during which first- or second-year law students work closely with Court of Appeals judges to gain hands-on experience working with Court cases.
