Lydia Wales
Franklin Township Trustee
Lydia is currently serving her third term as the Franklin Union Needham Township Trustee and truly enjoys her job. Lydia is heavily involved in the community and loves to volunteer. She is the former chair of the Blake Dickus Car Show, a DJ for Habitat for Humanity's Soup Bowl, the Blake Dickus Reward Fund and Discover Downtown Franklin's 4th Friday Car Event. Lydia has 18 years of clogging experience and taught clogging from 1989 to 1995 and has danced for agencies, KIC-IT and Johnson County Housing Coalition, at the Dancing With The Johnson County Stars.
Lydia has been happily married to John Wales for 25 years and has two kids, Alisha Lewis (Josh Lewis) and Mark (Tessa) Dillender. She loves being a grandmother and spoiling her grandchildren, Emma, Rocky, Lane, Blake, Lilah and Sunny and her dog, Milee.
Amy
Franklin Township Employee
Amy is currently serving as Franklin Union Needham Township Office Manager. She finds the job rewarding and loves to be of help to the community. She is deeply involved with her church and leads worship, as well as serves in a leadership role. Amy has a profound love of music and is often caught humming or singing a song. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and crafting.
Amy has been married to her high school sweetheart going on twenty years and has four insanely funny and amazing kids, along with two large Irish wolfhound dogs (Molly and Ronan) and a lab/chow mix dog (Max).
Michelle
Franklin Township Employee
Michelle is currently serving as the Franklin Union Needham Township Case Manager, and she is passionate about being involved in the community. Michelle moved to Franklin, Indiana from the suburbs of Chicago in 2013. Franklin felt like home since Michelle’s first visit in 2010.
Michelle has a daughter and two dogs, Athena and Fin. When not serving in the community, you can find Michelle hiking, kayaking, traveling, exploring downtown Franklin, spending quality time with family, or in her garden.
