NOTICE OF JAMESTOWN TOWN COUNCIL SEAT VACANCY
AND REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Jamestown, Indiana, Town Council will receive letters of interest for the vacant seat on the Jamestown Town Council beginning immediately and continuing until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. Letters of interest may be submitted during normal business hours at the Jamestown Clerk/Treasurer’s Office, 421 E Main Street, Jamestown, Boone County Indiana or by e-mailing the Clerk/Treasurer at clerk@townofjamestown.in.gov.
Anyone within the legal boundary of the Town of Jamestown who is a registered voter may submit a letter of interest.
Interviews will be conducted at a special public meeting of the Jamestown Town Council on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. and the Town Council will vote to appoint an individual to fill the vacant seat on the Jamestown Town Council at a special public meeting on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Both special public meetings will be held at the Jamestown Town Hall, located at 421 East Main Street, Jamestown, Indiana.
