Francisco is an incorporated Town located in Center Township, Gibson County, and as of 2020 census has a population of 556. Francisco is located on State Highway 64 between Princeton and Oakland City. The town was platted and laid out on the east side of the Wabash and Erie Canal by John Perkins in 1851. Francisco was incorporated in 1907 and the Francisco State Bank chartered a year later.
