Converse Flying Eagles

The Converse Flying Eagles Club was established on July 25, 1990. Promotes area events, hobby news from the Academy of Model Aeronautics District VI, and other articles of interest to all R/C hobbyists in central Indiana. Club meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month @ 7:00p at various locations.

Converse Public Library

The Mission of the Converse-Jackson Public Library is to provide access to ideas and information. Materials in a variety of formats and various services will be made available in a suitable, accessible environment for the residents of the library district and for others as may be appropriate. This will be done by trained personnel under the direction of a qualified librarian according to policies and plans adopted by the Library Board of Trustees.

Eastern Woodland Carvers Club, Inc.

The Eastern Woodland Carvers Club of Converse, Indiana in Miami County, is a non-profit organization made up of people who just love to do wood carving. The club has a membership around 250, and members meet for open carves on Tuesday nights starting @ 6:00p at 101 South Jefferson Street. Throughout the year, the club conducts projects together, holds seminars and workshops, maintains a carving library, and hosts open-community shows such as, the EWCC July Carving Show, Ornament Carve & Halloween Trick or Treats, and a December show.

Oak Hill Pot of Gold Foundation

The Oak Hill Pot of Gold Foundation strives to provide encouragement to the staff of Oak Hill! The foundation provides teacher grants and the Katie Jo Maynus Scholarship, and other student scholarships, along with teacher Encouragement gifts throughout the year!
