Quality of Life Plan

In May 2022, the Clermont Town Council adopted a Quality of Life Plan to guide its decision-making for the long term. The plan outlines a vision for the future of Clermont:

In the future, Clermont is known as a sustainable, attractive, walkable, creative, and active community that prides itself in a village atmosphere comfortable to all walks of life, including our youth, young professionals, seniors, et al. All transportation modes are fully and safely supported, including walking and biking. The business of town management is directed at economic development, community building, and quality-of-life issues such as public safety.

Key concepts include the town working on the following areas of improvement:

  • Developing and promoting a unique identity for Clermont
  • Connecting people and places
  • Maintaining the small-town atmosphere
  • Rethinking the core of Clermont

The plan itself is the compilation of many great ideas and countless hours of hard work, building upon council and community efforts that began more than a decade prior.

The Clermont Town Council has committed to using the plan as a guide to accomplishing town goals. The town encourages residents and businesses to download the plan and look for ways you can help be a part of improving Clermont's quality of life.
