Ian joined the Treasurer's office in November 2020. He serves as Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director, where he oversees external and internal communications for the office and its agencies, supervises the daily functions of the executive team, handles media relations and interviews for the Treasurer, and assists the Chief of Staff with personnel and operational responsibilities.
Before joining the Treasurer's office, Ian served as Deputy Communications Director for the Indiana Secretary of State from July 2016 to November 2020. He also served as Policy and Legislative Liaison for the Lieutenant Governor's Office and as a Legislative Assistant for the State Senate. He grew up in Newburgh, Indiana and holds a bachelor's degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Away from the Statehouse, Ian is an actor and director in community theatre. He lives with his wife, Emily, in Noblesville.
