Cindy Barger serves as the Director of TrustINdiana, Indiana’s state sponsored local government investment pool. She travels the State of Indiana meeting with local government officials to offer a safe investment option for public funds. Prior to moving to the Treasurer’s office in September of 2014, she served as a staff accountant for the Indiana Finance Authority. For over six years, she worked as the Office Manager/Lease Purchase Coordinator at the Indiana Bond Bank. Cindy began her work in public service and accounting by volunteering for various campaigns. She later transitioned into an accounting role for the Indiana Republican State Committee. She earned an A.A.S. in Business Administration from Ivy Tech Community College and a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana Wesleyan University. Cindy and her husband Randy reside in Brownsburg, Indiana.
