The Washington County Prosecuting Attorney’s Criminal Division pursue justice in hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases filed in Washington County every year. The office manages cases ranging from shoplifting to burglary, child molestation to murder.
Prosecutors represent the State of Indiana, the victims, and the constitutional rights of the defendant in every criminal case. We must balance these rights, and work to achieve a just outcome in order to keep our families safe.
Our Criminal Division works closely with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Salem Police Department, the Indiana State Police and Washington County circuit and Superior Courts and many other law enforcement agencies across the state and county to protect the public.
