CenterPoint Energy received IURC approval of a new tariff for procuring excess distributed generation on Apr. 7, 2021.

• In the case before the IURC, the OUCC filed testimony recommending denial, along with closing and response briefs.

The Indiana Court of Appeals reversed and remanded the order in a Jan. 28, 2022 decision.

• The OUCC filed its appellant brief with the Indiana Court of Appeals on Aug. 20, 2021, and its reply brief on Dec. 16, 2021.

The Indiana Supreme Court upheld the IURC's order in a Jan. 2, 2023 decision.
