Welcome to the 2023 Grant Administrator Training
Overview
The Grant Administrator Training will be offered through in-person classes in Indianapolis, with one virtual session for CDBG 101. If you are interested in becoming a certified Grant Administrator, you will need to take CDBG 101, CDBG 201, CDBG 301, CDBG 401, an exam and pass with a minimum of 75% on each exam.
If you are a certified Grant Administrator, each course except CDBG 101 is worth one "continuing ed" credit.
2023 Grant Administrator Training Schedule and Registration
OCRA is excited to announce our Grant Administrator Certification Training schedule for 2023. This certification is required for anyone who is interested in administering CDBG-funded projects in Indiana. This year, we are transitioning back to an in-person training curriculum, so please plan and make appropriate accommodations to be in Indianapolis for the full duration of each course.
The schedule is as follows:
Note: All parts of the class must be taken in order to receive credit. Certified Grant Administrators who are taking 201 and 301 for CE credit must take the corresponding exam to receive credit.
CDBG 101: June 15, 2023, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Indiana Government Center South (302 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204), Wabash Hall, Conference Room 4&5

*CDBG 101 Virtual Make-Up/Refresher: June 27, 2023, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Microsoft Teams Live
*Training is virtual through Microsoft Teams. Ideal for those not seeking full certification or those who might want a refresher. No registration is required.

CDBG 201: August 8-11, 2023
Location: Indiana Government Center South (302 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204)
Time: Aug. 8-10 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

CDBG 301: September 26-29, 2023
Location: Indiana Government Center South (302 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204)
Time: Sept. 26-28 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
