Microlearning Center

These videos cover a variety of topics to include board development, succession planning, trail funding, health and wellness and asset mapping. These are designed to further conversations, provide resources and enhance collaboration within the state. Each are led by a content expert at a partner agency, organization or not for profit.

On the second Wednesday of every month, a new learning is available. Videos are created with the help of our many partners. A big thank you to those partners to include: local main street organizations, Indiana Department of Transportation, Serve Indiana, Indiana Arts Commission, Indiana State Department of Health, Indiana Office of Tourism, Purdue Center for Regional Development, community foundations and non-profits.

Main Street Panel: Full time leadership 

OCRA often receives the question of why should a community have a full or part time director / manager for the Main Street organization. In this video, we are talking with three Indiana Main Street groups that, in the past few years, decided to hire full time main street directors.

The panel consists of is Molly Freeland, Board Chair of Batesville Main Street; Becky Schepman, director of Seymour Main Street; and Heidi Peterson, director of Main Street Marion.
