ServSafe is now offering a Certificate of Achievement in addition to its Food Manager Certification. If your facility is required to have a certified food handler per 410 IAC 7-22, BE SURE you will be getting the proper and accepted Food Manager Certification shown on the left rather than the Certificate of Achievement shown on the right. The proper certification course is proctored (meaning the instructor is watching as people take the exam) and is valid for 5 years. The Certificate of Achievement is not proctored and is only valid for 3 years.
