Small Utility Workshop
About the Workshop
We are excited to invite you to attend the 2024 Small Utility Workshop, hosted by Utility Regulatory Commission staff. Spanning three days (Oct. 30, 31, and Nov. 6), this FREE workshop is designed for water and wastewater utilities under the Commission’s jurisdiction with fewer than 8,000 customers and will provide an opportunity to learn about current/upcoming programs, utility best practices, and relevant topics impacting the industry (see agenda below).
While most of the sessions will be virtual, back by popular demand this year, the workshop will include a special in-person “Roll Up Our Sleeves” event on Oct. 31, from 1:00p – 4:00p, which will allow utilities to take a personalized look at whether non-recurring charges and current rates are adequately covering costs.
Continuing Education Water and Wastewater Certified Operators can earn up to 9 continuing education (CE) hours for attending.
