PLA Digital Certification

Welcome to the State of Indiana Online Verification Service.  This service provides you with the choice of either a quick and simple verification of a license or a digitally certified verification, which can be used as proof of licensure when applying to another state.

Upon receipt of payment a digitally certified copy of the license record will be downloaded to your PC and a file dialog box will appear on your screen.  At this prompt follow these instructions carefully:

  1. SAVE the document to your PC by replying SAVE.
  2. OPEN the document when prompted by the second dialog box to view the license record.
  3. If needed for licensing in another state, email the saved PDF to the state licensing board to which you are applying.

If the validity of a record is ever disputed, saving the document will give you the opportunity to later upload the digitally certified record to verify its authenticity.

Digitally certified license records are delivered and viewable in .pdf format and require Adobe Reader.  If you don't have the Reader, download it here.

This application uses processes that follow the requirements of Indiana's Electronic Digital Signature Act, Ind. Code 5-24-1-1 et seq. and rules developed by the Indiana State Board of Accounts, 20 IAC 3-1 et seq. to establish a valid digital signature.
