Thanks to Councillor Earl W. Salisbury for spearheading the discovery, restoration, installation, and rededication of this marker which had been missing for many years. The rededication took place August 21, 2004 at Washington High School in Indianapolis. Others to thank include Steve Young, Dick Horton, and Ilene Champagne of Indianapolis Public Schools.
